The Pattachitra style of painting is done on a wooden pendant, cloth canvas seed, coconut etc. Pattachitra painting is a traditional art form from Odisha (India), using mainly sustainable materials such as handmade natural paints and canvases made of cloth. This art form is inspired by Hindu and Vaishnava culture, with roots dating back to 12000 BC. This art form has very intricate designs and tells mythological and folk stories through painting.
