Dhokra konark wheel is the tribute to great craft of THE KONARK SUN TEMPLE. Konark wheel is the wheel specially made for THE KONARK SUN TEMPLE. It consists of 8 wider spokes and 8 inner spokes. Original wheel is 9 feet in diameter. The temple has 12 pair of wheels which is the wheels of LORD SURYA’s sun chariot.

 Dokra Konark Wheel is made with dhokra techniques. Dokra/Dhokra is a lost wax metal casting technique that traditionally uses non-ferrous metal. This technique is 4000 years old and unique. The process of making Dokra is fascinating and only natural raw materials are used. The process of antique manufacturing is done exclusively by hand and without the involvement of machinery.it look like a vintage gold and enhance the beauty of the environment.
